Due to the potential arrival of Hurricane Ian in the coming days, Venetian Cleaners will close all of its stores tomorrow, 9/27 (Tuesday) at 12:00 pm until they are able to reopen after the passing of the storm. During its shortened business hours on the 27th, Venetian Cleaners will only accept pick ups of items.

We are glad to inform you that all of Venetian Cleaners's stores have extended their Monday - Friday closing time to 6 pm. This extends our closing hour during the week by 1 hour from our previous schedule we put in place during Florida's Phase 1. We hope this extension to our hours works better with your schedule and makes our service more convenient.
As we continue to be open during Florida's phased Reopening, we would like to take a moment to remind everyone how important it is to operate within a business environment that prevents the spread of Covid. If we can't collectively do that, we can't be open for business. Period. You can contribute to this by wearing a mask when you pick up and drop off clothes. Wearing a mask for the short interaction between our employees when picking up and dropping off clothes can only help to keep our staff safe, and it has the potential to help immensely. We cannot thank you enough for doing your part in this regard.

To all customers of the Englewood coin laundromat - please be advised that the coin laundromat will be closed from 12 pm onward on Saturday, May 30th for repavement of the parking lot. The coin laundromat will close for the rest of Saturday starting at 12 pm, and then will reopen the next day, Sunday May 31st at its normal opening hour of 7 am.
If you would please not start any new loads of laundry washes after 10 am this Saturday the 30th, we would greatly appreciate it.

Venetian Cleaners is glad to announce we will reopen our doors tomorrow, May 1, 2020 to dry cleaning business. All of our dry cleaning stores will open under temporary Covid-19 hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday. We will resume all dry cleaning services. We will continue to follow the respective guidelines for compliant and safe operations, and specifically will continue to limit our pick-up/drop-off process to drive-thru only. Please expect our staff to be wearing masks and gloves as they perform their duties, and help us to keep our operations safe by complying with our governor's guidelines about appropriate social interactions during this phase of the reopening process. Dry Cleaning Operations Closed
We regret to inform you that contrary to our initial expectation that we would be able to continue with our doors open under a more socially isolated business regime, we have found it in the best interest of our company to prioritize the health of our staff and shut down dry cleaning operations until Monday, April 6, 2020 at the earliest. No new drop-offs will be accepted after close of business today, Monday March 23, while customers will have until this Friday (March 27) to pick up completed orders.
Laundromat Service Still Open, with Increased Sanitation Measures
Our Englewood laundromat will stay open and available to customers who need its facilities to wash and dry clothes. We are putting additional sanitation measures in place about which we will provide further detail shortly.

We hope this message finds you well during the extraordinary times of COVID-19. As proud providers of your dry cleaning needs, and part of your local personal economy, we want to provide you with guidance about what you can expect as a patron of Venetian Cleaners during the foreseeable near term of COVID-19.
First and foremost, we want to emphasize that we are open for business. All three of our Venice, Englewood, and Nokomis stores remain operational, and we do not plan for that to change over the next month amidst the current business climate.
Beyond just being open, we want to acknowledge the privileged position we feel to be in as a ‘get-in get-out’ business to be able to provide the normal sense of everyday life that pre-existed COVID-19. Within the operational constraints needed to protect all of our health and slow the virus’s spread, we are directing our efforts to providing that sense of normalcy.
Operational Modifications Given COVID-19
We are currently operating under the 15 Days to Slow the Spread guidance of the White House and CDC, and during this timeframe and until further notice will implement the following measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Conclusions
Our plan at Venetian Cleaners is to make and communicate the small tweaks necessary to remain as close to business as usual as possible. We do not yet plan to make changes to store hours or to our employees’ pay, and believe that with your confidence and our collective sound judgment we will be able to do so.
